22 Syrian refugees found on north coast

Twenty-two Syrian refugees were discovered on the coast of Kaplica, after being dropped off by boat. The refugees were told that they would be landing on the Greek Cypriot side of the island.

Reports say that four children and three women were among the refugees, who were picked up later by the Turkish Cypriot police and taken to hospital for check-up.

They are due to appear in court on Monday.
