A speed boat was found abandoned on the Yeşilköy-Yeni Erenköy coast on Sunday.
The boat which is about 7-8 meters long was believed to have been used to transport migrants.
Around ten hours later, the police discovered five Syrian refugees hiding in the Yeşilköy countryside. It is thought that there may be other migrants still in hiding.
