A Drought Map was produced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources for 2017/18
The Ministry of Agriculture announced that production of cereals and legumes was affected by the lack of rainfall within the time required for crops to grow.
The General Agricultural Insurance Fund Detection and Evaluation Committee outlined a number of villages and/or regions growing Cereal (Barley, Wheat, Oats) and animal fodder which were affected by drought.
Green Areas indicate no drought
Orange Areas indicate 50% of region affected by drought
Purple Areas indicate 70% of region affected by drought
Yellow Areas indicate 90% of region affected by drought
