The air temperature is expected to be between 40 – 43 C tomorrow, and between 36 – 39 C on the following days.
According to the Met Office, the region will be influenced by a low-pressure system and a warm, relatively humid air mass from June 15 to 21. The weather will be clear to partly cloudy throughout the week, with occasional mist on Monday and Tuesday mornings.
The highest air temperature on the first day of this period will be around 40 to 43 degrees C inland areas and 36 to 39 degrees C on the coast. On the following days, temperatures will be around 36 to 39 degrees C inland and 32 to 35 degrees c on the coast.
Winds will generally blow moderate from the south and west, with occasional strong gusts on Saturday.
