President Mustafa Akinci will meet President Nicos Anastasiades on Tuesday at 6pm in the first round of talks scheduled for April.
Anastasiades said after their last meeting on 28th March that he and Akinci had exchanged views on a wide range of issues, covering subjects on which they had reached a common understanding. The aim of which was to find ways to turn these into convergences.
He noted, however, that there were still challenges to be tackled. In today’s meeting, both community leaders want to “…clear up some matters and to see where we are heading”.
Further talks between the two leaders are scheduled for 25th April and 9th May.
