All drone flights and air sports, except those with special permits, are prohibited from 05:45 on Wednesday, July 17, until 19:59 on Saturday, July 20, the Civil Aviation Department of the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation announced in a NOTAM.
In a statement made by the Department, it was stated that “Due to the show to be held by the Turkish Stars within the framework of the 20 July Peace and Freedom Day celebrations, all drone flights and air sports, except for those granted special permissions, are prohibited from 05:45 on Wednesday, 17 July 2024 until 19:59 on Saturday, 20 July 2024. The ban in question was announced to aviators with the NOTAM published by SHD on 15 July 2024 ”.
