There was a tragic car accident on the main Kyrenia – Nicosia road at 3.30 this morning.
A car with registration plate ZMD 204 veered into the pavement at speed and then turned a somersault.
The driver died at the scene of the accident and his female passenger is badly injured.
Police are investigating the incident.
