The body of a young woman, believed to be that of Gaye Soyutok has been found 150 metres above a ravine at Ciklos, Kyrenia.
Gaye Soyutok (18) was the missing passenger of a car which plummeted over the side of the Kyrenia-Nicosia highway into a water-filled ravine on Thursday. The bodies of three youths who were also in the car have already been recovered. They were Ahmet Kilic, Gunay Kandaz and Tolga Bekci.
Gaye’s body which was found on Saturday evening by emergency workers, had been buried under about one and a half metres of soil.
Her identity will be confirmed by her family.
The head of the Disaster and Emergency Management Centre, again, expressed his condolences to her family and the community.
