Another example of the flurry of activity by the Council of Ministers before they disbanded for the elections has emerged.
This time it is the leasing out of the Bogaz picnic area.
Coupled with a previous leasing agreement, this means that the Forestry Department has in effect leased out all the valley picnic area.
The lease is for 5 years at an annual rental of US$ 2000. Perhaps that will help to keep the area free of rubbish.
It appears that the leasing model is the same as for the seaside beaches. That is there is no direct charge for entry but there is one for “services” provided.
