The air traffic controllers union will be holding a 24 hour strike on March 14th.
It says that this is a warning to the government for making empty promises and not giving the incentives and rewards that are accorded their fellow workers in other countries.
The union says that they have suffered from all the political failings of successive governments and the attempts, over the years, by the Greek Cypriots to blacken their names. However, despite the unacceptable conditions of service, they have maintained professional standards, it added.
The strike will start at 8.30am.
