It has just been announced that the comprehensive programme put forward by the interim government has been passed by parliament.
The voting was 26 for, 15 against and 8 non-voters.
After the vote, the parliamentary speaker, Hasan Bozer, gave the Prime Minister the right to have the final word.
Siber Sibel said that she had promised a transparent and honest government and that the institutions had to regain the trust of the public. She felt that all the tussles during today’s debates showed that the old government was unhappy with these aims.
The former Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk demanded the right to reply but was told that the debate was over and the session closed.
