British High Commissioner Matthew Kidd, paid a visit to the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce in Nicosia on Wednesday.
Turkish Cypriot daily ‘Vatan’ reports that Kidd and his delegation met with the Chairman Gunay Cerkez and members of the administrative council.
Representatives of the Chamber stressed the value of the role of the High Commissioner in Cyprus and expressed their support for a solution to the Cyprus problem.
“Maybe this is the last chance,” said Gunay Cerkez, to achieve a solution which would reap economic benefits for all Cyprus. He stressed that the international community also needed take responsibility for the solution.
