President Mustafa Akıncı received the British Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Office Alan Duncan, who is on a three day official visit to the Island.
The latest developments in the Cyprus negotiations were discussed at the meeting held at the presidential palace.
Also present at the meeting were the coordinator for the technical committees Meltem Samani and Presidential Advisor for Diplomatic Affairs Erhan Ercin.
In addition, the president met with the US Ambassador to [South] Cyprus, Kathleen Doherty. Again progress in the Cyprus talks was top of the agenda.
