Turkish Cypriot negotiator Kudret Özersay and Greek Cypriot negotiator Andreas Mavroyiannis will meet with UN SG’s Special Representative Lisa Buttenheim today. ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.
According to Greek Cypriot daily ‘Alithia’, the two negotiators could not even agree on minor Confidence Building Measures during their special meeting which took place on last Friday.
‘Alithia’ wrote that the UN will hold separate meetings with the two negotiators in an attempt to overcome the differences before the negotiators meet tomorrow.
Speaking to the press about tomorrow’s meeting, Özersay said earlier that Wednesday’s meeting would mark the conclusion of proposals on the six main chapters being submitted.
