Cash in the amount of 770,000 TL believed to be stolen from a private car hired by Guzelyurt Cooperative Bank to transport money on July 24 has apparently been found in a house in Akdeniz village, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.
The police, who have who have arrested four men linked to the high-jacking, have also been searching for the 3 million TL cash stolen from the high-jacked vehicle on the Nicosia-Guzelyurt highway. Two vehicles were found later on the day of the robbery, abandoned near the Zodia border crossing.
