The headquarters of the Fethullah Gulen Terrorist Organisation (FETO) in the TRNC is located in Bellapais, at the house of journalist Nazli Ilicak (above) who was arrested on July 26 for connections with FETO, a report by Turkish Cypriot daily Volkan claims.
The paper cites information according to which important members of FETO held meetings at the house, adding that Fatih Yarimbas, former chairman of the Civil Defence Organisation also participated in the meetings. Yarimbas was also arrested after the July 15 coup attempt in Turkey.
Volkan also writes that prior to July 15, on 12-13 of July, meetings were organised again at this house under tight security.
