The weather will be cloudy and overcast during the week, with showers or thunderstorms. According to Met Office, the country will remain under the influence of cool and humid air masses from 22 October to 28 October. This means the weather will be partly cloudy during this time, with heavy showers or thunderstorms. The highest air temperature will be around 27-30 ºC inland and on the coast.
Winds will generally blow from moderate to strong from north to east.
Meanwhile South Cyprus Met Office has issued an orange weather warning as heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon on the eastern side of the island including Karpaz and Famagusta. Between 21-50cm of rain are expected. Flood warnings have been issued for those regions affected.
