Community leaders hold meeting today

President Mustafa Akinci and Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Anastasiades are meeting within the framework of ongoing negotiations aimed at reaching a comprehensive Cyprus problem.

The meeting began at 11am in the UN controlled buffer zone, which is the first time between two sets of negotiation meetings and a 5-party conference in Geneva earlier this month.

In addition to other issues relating to the Cyprus negotiations, both leaders will follow-up on the briefings they received from their representatives at the technical discussions held in Mont Pelerin from January 18 to 19.
