President Akinci is scheduled to meet with President Anastasiades on Thursday to continue the intensified Cyprus negotiations.
This will be their fourth meeting which will focus on ironing out remaining divergences on Governance and power sharing, EU matters, Economy and Property.
The chapter on Territory is expected to be discussed in the first week of November in Camp David style negotiations away from the island.
A total of ten meetings have been scheduled for October in an intensified round of talks.
After tomorrow’s meeting the leaders will meet again on 14th, 16th, 17th, 24th, 26th, and 31st October.
Earlier on, President Akinci said that a referendum could be held in 2017, provided the negotiations did not run into any obstacles.
