Construction works in Mete Street, Kyrenia, have unearthed an ancient tomb and 20 antique artefacts including large jugs and jars, belonging to the Hellenistic-Roman period were found.
According to Kibris Gazetesi, archaeologists and officials of the Antiquities and Museum Department carried out inspections in the area and launched excavations.
Director of the antiquities department Fuat Azimli, said that they will give more details on the finds after completing their work.
