Testing in the last 24 hours found 44 positive cases of Covid-19, 27 of which were local, BRT reports.
Thirteen of the local cases are in Nicosia, 4 are in Famagusta, and 10 in the Kyrenia region.
One person has died, no further details regarding the deceased were given.
