Creditwest donates to Nicosia High School

President Dervis Eroglu, opened a new conference hall at Nicosia High School yesterday.

This fully equipped facility was donated by Creditwest Bank.

In his opening speech, Mr Eroglu pointed out that the state gave great importance to education and that all children in the TRNC had the chance of a good education, including access to eight universities.

He did say that the state could not spend as much as it would like on education but  private companies such as Creditwest could make significant contributions.

In reply, the President of the Altinbas Group, which owns Creditwest, Vakkas Altinbas, said that there would be further investments and donations in education. This would be reflected in Turkey as well as the TRNC.

This large hall is fully equipped and can accommodate up to 180 people.
