The police have reported that in the last 24 hours, 16 people violated curfew which is in force between 8pm and 5am, Kibris Postasi reports. Additionally, six people were cautioned for not wearing masks in public and one workplace faces sanctions for opening when not permitted.
They all face prosecution.
