Cyprus Classic Car Festival postponed due to political tensions

The Cyprus Classic Car Festival Organising Committee has today announced that the Cyprus Classic Car Festival, due to take place outside Ledra Palace in the UN buffer zone on Sunday 12th October has been postponed because of political tensions, ‘Yeni Duzen’ reports.

A press release issued by the Organising Committee said that the committee had, with great sadness, postponed the festive until a later date.

Many people, the statement said, were involved in this decision, classic car owners and public opinion. In view of what is happening at this time, the unstable climate and the tense political situation which threatens the success festival has been taken into account.
