Chief Cyprus negotiators Kudret Ozersay and Andreas Mavroyiannis continued their contacts in South Africa yesterday with a meeting on Monday, in Cape Town, with former President of South Africa and Nobel Peace Prize winner, F W de Klerk.
According to a tweet by Greek Cypriot negotiator, Andreas Mavroyiannis, de Klerk gave “a moving account of crucial moments where one has to live up to historic responsibility for the future of the country.”
The negotiators also met this morning with the national intelligence chief, Moe Shaik, on the role of intelligence and integration of agencies in South Africa.
