Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kudret Özersay visited Wayne’s Keep Cemetery located in the TRNC.
Signing the memorial book at the cemetery, Minister Özersay made an inspection of the cemetery where there are graves of 215 persons including 11 Turkish Cypriots who lost their lives during World War II.
The members of the “The British Residents’ Society” living in the TRNC also organise the commemoration of “Remembrance Day” each year in November for those who lost their lives while performing their duty in the British army during the first and second World Wars.
