Deutsche Bank could invest in building South’s LNG terminal

The Cyprus News Agency reports that a high level delegation from the German giant Deutsche Bank arrives in Cyprus on Thursday to discuss with the Greek Cypriot Energy Minister, potential financial investments in a Natural Gas Liquefaction (LNG) terminal.

The South Cyprus government is making efforts to involve European investors to develop the nascent gas industry in Cyprus. A visit by representatives from the European Investment Bank is expected in May.

Estimated costs of building the terminal are around 20 billion euro.
