Transport and Public Works Minister Kemal Dürüst, during a visit to Paşaköy and Guzelyurt responded to statements made by the Greek Cypriot side regarding the two Turkish Cypriot communities
He said: “No one can ignore the existence of the Turkish Cypriots on the island since 1571. We have never stood against a just and permanent solution. However, we have never thought or will think that our investments in the TRNC will stop because there will be a solution”.
Dürüst further noted that all areas within the TRNC borders, such as Guzelyurt and Paşaköy, are important, adding that they will continue to carry out investments across the TRNC, in order for the country to develop.
