Direct flights from Black Sea region begin in August

Direct flights between the Black Sea region of Turkey to Ercan will begin on 3^rd August, Transport Minister Kemal Durust has said.

According to Kibris Gazetesi, following the demands of the TRNC’s Black Sea Culture Association, Durust made an agreement with Pegasus airlines to conduct flights to North Cyprus three times a week.

Durust stated that there are 18,000 people originating from the Black Sea living in the TRNC and that he had taken into consideration their demand for direct flights.
