Drowned French Tourist had Brain Haemorrhage

An autopsy on the body of an elderly Frenchwoman who was discovered washed up on the Salamis Bay Hotel beach, revealed that she had died of a brain haemorrhage which led to her drowning at sea.

The body of Yvette Marie Claudine Kesaudy Durusso aged 78, who had been staying at the hotel was discovered last Monday evening.

She was taken to Famagusta State Hospital for autopsy which discovered that she had died of “atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and brain haemorrhage”.
