A man was arrested by police in Nicosia on March 22nd. Salih Gunsel was found to be carrying 28 packets of bonsai, a synthetic cannabis.
Yesterday he was at Nicosia crown Court where he was ordered to be held for three days while police continue their investigations.
Police have stated that they wish to analyse fingerprints on the packets and are looking for an accomplice.
