An earthquake of 4.8 magnitude occurred on Monday at 14.09, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.
It’s epicentre was 53km offshore south-east Limassol at a depth of 10km, the EMSC said.
There have been no reports of damage so far. The earth tremors were felt in Nicosia.
