An earthquake measuring 4.5 magnitude was recorded in the Limassol area on Tuesday morning, the Geological Survey Department said.
The epicentre of the earthquake was the sea area 50 km southwest of Limassol at a depth of 30 km.
The tremor was recorded at 9.17 am and lasted about five seconds. A resident of Ypsonas, said that the furniture and lighting was shaking.
