Eighteen local councils signed up for Turkey’s water

The number of local councils who have signed the agreement to buy water from Turkey, during the transition period, has reached 18, after Lapta and Akdoğan councils decided to participate in the project, a statement from Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources says.

Other councils which have signed up include: Famagusta, Guzelyurt, Vadili, Büyükkonuk, Yeniboğaziçi, Catalkoy, Pasakoy, Inonu, Esentepe, Beyarmudu, Tatlisu, Serdarlı, Geçitkale, Mehmetcik and Yenierenköy
