Head of the electricity workers union, Caglayan Cesurer issued a press statement earlier today.
The statement accuses the Energy Minister Sunat Atun (pictured above) of attempting to favour the private electricity company AKSA.
Mr Atun does in fact have an interest in this company and EL-SEN accuses him of pressurising KIB-TEK management to change their contract with AKSA to more favourable terms.
Mr Cesurer has fixed up meetings tomorrow with the Law Office, and the Chief Auditor. He will be formally accusing Mr Atun of being on the board of directors of AKSA and signing contract amendments that would benefit AKSA and be harmful to KIB-TEK.
