The Cyprus Turkish Electricity Institution Employees’ Union (El-Sen) highlighted the ongoing issues at the Iskele Regional Directorate, issuing a final warning to the Kib-Tek management, Yeniduzen reports.
El-Sen President Ahmet Tuğcu, speaking this morning in front of the Iskele Regional Directorate, stated that they had been informing Kib-Tek management about these issues for months, but no action had been taken. He criticised the Kib-Tek management for focusing on the upcoming congress instead of addressing the deficiencies.
Tuğcu pointed out that Kib-Tek employees in Iskele face numerous problems, including a lack of proper clothing and equipment. “We’ve raised these concerns many times. If something happens to one of these employees, no one will be held accountable. We are issuing one final warning to ensure our employees can work in healthy and safe conditions. If no action is taken, we may call for a strike affecting all regions starting Monday“, he warned.
