We are used to ministers travelling around in luxury cars and making pompous speeches at various ceremonies.
However there is a new breed of politician in the interim government.
The new Minister of the Environment, Mehmet Harmanci was out on Alagadi beach yesterday helping students to clear it of rubbish.
In his Facebook account, Mr Harmanci says that he will be at a different beach clean-up next weekend.
Let us hope he is a shining example to the new ministers to be elected at the July elections!
