Turkey’s Prime Minister Erdogan yesterday during the course of a television interview attacked Twitter.
He said “At this moment we have this curse called Twitter, it transmits unmitigated lies. This social media thing is really a big headache for the people.”
Erdogan also claimed “They are creating corpses using Photoshop.”
Having attacked two of the icons of the younger generations, Erdogan did go on to make out some valid points to back his authority. After all he and his party have been successful in a series of democratic elections in Turkey.
Erdogan said, “If they can bring out 20 thousand people to Taksim, I can bring out 500 thousand. We have the strength to do that. My party keeps asking me are we going to stay quiet against this, but we have stopped reacting.”
