TRNC President Dervis Eroglu is flying to New York today to meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
The meeting will take place at 3.30 pm (10.30 pm Cyprus time) after which the Secretary General will hold a press conference.
A statement from the Presidency Press Office’s says that he will convey the Turkish Cypriot’s views and expectations regarding the Cyprus negotiations. Eroglu will also be meeting with the Head of Council of Foreign Relations Dr Richard Haass.
The president will return to Cyprus on Thursday morning.
