Turkish Cypriot President Derviş Eroğlu who was in Turkey for a brief visit met with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in İstanbul yesterday, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.
After attending the foundation laying ceremony of İstanbul’s third Airport Erdoğan received Eroğlu at his office at the Dolmabahçe Palace.
The Eroğlu – Erodoğan meeting which lasted around one hour was closed to press and there were no statements issued after the meeting.
President Eroğlu returned to Cyprus late yesterday evening.
