Former TRNC President Mehmet Ali Talat [on left] has accused President Dervis Eroglu of playing for time in the Cyprus negotiations, ‘Star Kibris’ reports.
He added that the deadlock was just what Erolgu wanted and that there would be a fresh impetus to the talks after the presidential elections in 2015.
Talat, speaking in a television programme also accused the Greek Cypriot side of creating obstacles to a solution. He said that it was possible to convince the international community to pressure the Greek Cypriots to change their attitude.
However, he said that in order to achieve this, the Turkish Cypriots needed a pro-solution leader with a positive vision for a solution.
