A fire, which started in the southwestern area of Kormacit (Koruçam) village at around 2pm on Saturday afternoon in the rubbish dump, spread to a wide area, Yeniduzen reported.
Police, the fire department and Forest Department teams and locals fought the blaze together. It was later announced that the fire was under control.
