A five month old baby was tested and found to be positive after its mother also tested positive for the virus. Official sources have not confirmed this as yet.
According to hospital sources, the mother and baby have been quarantined at Nicosia State Hospital.
The baby, who was infected by its mother, does not appear to have any symptoms at the moment.
No official statement from the Ministry of Health has been made yet.
