FM Tahsin Ertugruloglu Visits Poland

Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertugruloglu was invited to Poland’s capital, Warsaw, to attend the DMW International Diplomats’ Association and the European Business Club meetings.

According to a statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ertugruloglu held bilateral contacts there, attended conferences and gave interviews on the latest developments in Cyprus.

Ertugruloglu started by attending the European Bioeconomics Congress held in Lodz, where Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Assoc. Dr. Asım Vehbi of Girne American University (GAU) was among those presenting papers.

The foreign minister had the opportunity to meet with members of research institutes, universities and company representatives at the congress.

North Cyprus News - Ertugruloglu - PolandErtugruloglu and  former chairman of the AP and former Prime Minister Jerzy Buzek attended the congress Gala Dinner. He also met with other EU and Polish officials.

The TRNC foreign minister also met with Lodz provincial magistrate Witold Stępien. Ertugruloglu then went to Warsaw and continued his contacts. He visited the Polish Parliament in Warsaw, held talks with members of the parliament, and also met with officials from the Polish Foreign Ministry.
