Tulips/Help Those with Cancer Association received a generous donation at a Freemason’s event at the Colony Hotel on Saturday evening.
The Bellapais Lodge of the Freemasons had decided to give money to Tulips and the Worshipful Master Peter Austin presented Carole and Sue of Tulips with a cheque for 5,000 TL.
In return Carole and Sue presented the Freemasons with a handcrafted plaque on behalf of Tulips.
It was an amazing gesture, Carole says and one that the Association appreciates enormously. These kinds of donations are invaluable for keeping the Association running on a month by month basis.
She said that they can only thank everyone there for their wonderful generosity.
