The government has announced its targets for the economy, particularly the development plans it has for industry.
Minister for Economy and Energy Sunat Atun Atun, said that the government aims to simultaneously support the industrial, agricultural and tourism sectors and strengthen investments made in these areas.
He said that a total of 15 million TL in subsidiary grants will be put aside for those sectors.
Atun further said that co-finance grant programmes, investment credits, funding for small to medium-sized enterprises and financial support for tradesmen will continue.
Referring to Prime Minister Huseyin Ozgurgun’s recent visit to Ankara, Atun said that due to this visit, the largest three year budget in history had been granted and the TRNC has been signed up to receive 3 billion 250 million TL. He added that a large amount of the annual budget will be spent on investments and infrastructure work.
