Greek Cypriots have the wrong attitude: Eroglu

Turkish Cypriot President Dervis Eroglu has said that President Anastasiades’ decision to pull out of the Cyprus negotiations for the present demonstrate that the Greek Cypriot side has the wrong attitude, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.

Eroglu, in a written statement said:“With the attitude south Cyprus has shown that they are insincere in their attempts to find a solution for the Cyprus Problem through negotiations.”

“Saying that Turkey has violated the right of sovereignty to justify their decision does not comply with the realities of the Cyprus Problem and this is a testimony that ignores the Turkish Cypriots’ rights and law.”

The statement went on that the Greek Cypriot side’s attitude shows that they are not sincere in their attempts to find a solution for the Cyprus problem through negotiations. “We, with the realities of Cyprus as our basis, like yesterday are here today for a solution.”

Eroglu said that after evaluating the issue in more depth, he will make further statements to the public.
