Health workers strike continues

The series of lightning strikes by health workers continues.

Oguz Kose, head of the Association of Nurses and Midwives issued a press statement earlier today.

He again points out that the number of nurses and midwives are well below levels required or planned for. He claims that neither the Minister of Health nor the Prime Minister care about the health of the public. The government seem more concerned about placing their own people in jobs. They also seem to put their own internal power problems before those of the country.

Accordingly there will be a two hour strike at the Lapta Health Center tomorrow, Friday, February 15th from 8am to 10am.

These strikes will continue until the vacancies are filled.
