The North Cyprus Met Office has issued a new warning about heavy rainfall expected over the next few days. According to the latest forecasts, rainy weather will continue until Sunday, ‘Kibris Postasi’ reports.
In addition, a dust cloud from North Africa will be hitting the island today but is expected to disperse tomorrow with the showers. Air pollution will be high and visibility will be poor over the next 24 hours, said the Meteorology Department.
Light rain on Friday will be followed by thunderstorms at the weekend. The met office warned the public to be careful, especially during times of heavy downpour.
