Restoration work will be begin in Kyrenia Old Harbour from December, Tourism Minister Unal Ustel has said.
“Our goal is for the historic ancient port of Kyrenia to become a centre of attraction”, Ustel said.
He noted that included in the works to be carried out in the port are alterations to the sewage system, lighting, environment monitoring and restoration of the surrounding buildings.
Work should be completed by April 2020, the minister said.
